Canberra Auto Insurance Rates Decreased : Car insurance rates in Canberra have seen a decrease at around $12.77, according to a recent study. This rate was based on a 30-year old male with a 2005 Toyota Corolla and a good driving record. According to the study organized by car insurance price comparison website Rate City, the rates in Canberra had a general decrease, but the decrease varies in different areas.

Those decreases are evident, with Reid having the largest decrease of $18.01, whilst Isaacs got the slightest decrease with a meager $7.11. The study also showed that an average Aussie driver at Canberra pays up $1112 for a comprehensive auto insurance, but Rate City added that there other providers who provide the same coverage for $653 less.

Besides the decreasing rates in different areas in Canberra, the study also revealed the current average car insurance price rates, with Belconnen with $744.97, Reid with $736.95, Isaacs at $729.69, and Amaroo at $721.58.

Rate City also advised people to not only look for a lower car insurance price, but also an auto insurance packed with helpful features. There are several auto insurance companies that offer several features like a preferred extensive healthcare network or discounted repairs at preferred repair shops.
