Insurance Corporation of British Columbia offers various accident benefits through their car insurance offering. The company’s Autoplan, provides drivers of an amount of up to $150,000 as part of their “accident benefits”. The amount which will be given would help injured drivers to pay for their medical and rehabilitation expenses. In addition, ICBC would also cover a potion of the driver’s wage loss – this benefit is due if the driver is unable to work due to injuries from a car accident. As part of the company’s car insurance services, ICBC also offers injured drivers Medical coverage for hospital care, chiropractic treatments, and physiotherapy and other medications.The company also has its own Rehabilitation Department that provides injured drivers a place where they can recover from catastrophic and long term injuries. Currently, ICBC Car Insurance catered around 2700 car accident victims covered by their “accident benefits” program.
